Twilight - I know you want to hear it!

I decided on Saturday night I couldn't wait any more. I had to see it. It was seriously driving me crazy (and it had only been out for 3 days). I was worried that it was going to be horrible but because I loved the books so much I was also worried that I would miss out on just seeing a good movie. I hadn't heard any reviews about it yet, so I needed to go see it before I started getting all the reviews (good or bad). So Steve and I went. It was great. It was entertaining and I loved all the people they got to play the characters. I had seen photos of the guy that played Edward and thought that it wasn't a good match but on the big screen he was very cute! I am going to see it again with my sis and we are going on a double date with our friends the Combe's to watch it again on Friday. I can't wait. Oh and I will be buying it. Now it is just passing time until the next one comes out. I hate the wait.

I think it helped that I didn't try and read the book before I went and saw it on Saturday. I have done this with all the Harry Potter movies and have walked away a bit annoyed by what they changed or stuff they left out from the books.

On the other hand, I left wanting more. As I always do when a book I loved reading is made into a movie. But I think they did a very good job staying true to the books. I also loved Charlie. That actor has that character NAILED!

Steve thought they same thing. He thought Charlie was perfect.

It is nice to hear a good review of the show. Most of the reviews I have heard are negative. I haven't read the books, and figure that most people who were disappointed had read them. I will read them AFTER I see the movie. I still haven't read the Harry Potter books for that reason. I want to finish the series of movies before I read them. Then I will go through them in one swoop.
