So this last week I took the week off, from running any way. My school work and other life cycles were getting the best of me and I had enough. So I de-stressed this week and running was one of the things I could cut. However today I hit the pavement and pushed myself hard. I ran my best time to date. I ran 4.75 miles and did it in 56 minutes (11:58 min/mile). It was awesome although I was really dehydrated cause I kept getting side cramps along the route, it sucked. Oh well though it felt great and I need to push myself more often. This week, on Friday, I am running again on one of Windy's routes. She says she has an easier one that is over 6 miles so I can't wait.

Way to go girlie :)
Your side aches can be from your breathing. Make sure to find a rhythm when you breath. Breathing to fast can cause those cramps.
Ahh, that makes sense because I was running a lot faster and pushing myself so I wasn't as careful as I usually am. In through the nose out through the mouth is what I usually do but if I am hurring it is just breath. Thanks for the tip.
