I know it has been awhile but I have been really busy. And by the looks of all my other blog friends out there we all have those moments. First I did the Romp to Stomp this year. I blogged about the donation part but here are a few pics of me actually doing it. We even made national news this year because we had the largest donation for the Utah Event! Yes we are all very proud of that.
Cathy, Verona and I hiked together this year, it was Cathy's first Romp and she did very well. They did ditch me in the end (they cheated and took the easy way out) but I finished with style but of course I didn't get any pics because who would want to see me all sweaty and gross.
Next we had Michelle's Baptism. It was very unique because we actually got to throw her the birthday party afterwards. Her Mom Anne was undergoing Chemo at the time for Breast Cancer and so she wasn't feeling up to 100% so it was our pleasure to treat our very special niece, very special.
This Kari and Arnold who are Michelle's Aunt and Uncle (they also made the delicious cake and chocolate frogs and things on the cake that I could eat. They were yummy!
Here Michael (Michelle's brother) is trying to prevent Michelle from blowing out the candle. Congrats to Michelle for making this wonderful choice. Remember CTR forever!

And the whole reason the kids bought the house. Nickole and Beau (former owners) left the swing set. HELLOOOO can we saw awesome!! Ya Connor didn't take long to warm up to the house when he saw this. Our backyard has a patio and a place for a garden so this summer we are going to be living it up! We have been to our ward and love it. Everyone was so wonderful. We have also met one of our neighbors, Margaret (sp?). She was wonderful to and gave us some very helpful advice. She also has a pool so hopefully we will become fast friends and enjoy that. Crossing my fingers.
The Easter Bunny hit the Ludlow's and the kids were very happy with the hauls.
Can you tell Julia's latest obsession. She is not sure who's team she is on but she knows that she loves it. I know I should probably not let her see these movies but I am a sucker for a good romance.

Oh yeah baby look at that stash. What you can't see is the dozen that I am holding that wouldn't fit in his bucket any more.

And finally all caught up. Today is Connor's 4th Birthday. Happy Birthday Baby! He woke us up at 6:30 and immediately saw his present at the foot of our bed. Of course he wanted to open it right away. We have been holding this one since Steve's Father passed away and it was a great surprise.
A lot has happened since I last wrote, good, bad and sad. Steve's father passing away was the bad and sad. It was expected but just not really expected. Steve has his good days and his bad but we have a lot of support in our lives so everything is good. Steve made it up to Montana and was able to spend the last few days of Roberts life with him and with his brother and sister. It was a very special time and one that I know my darling hubby will be grateful for, for the rest of his life. Yesterday Mike Layton from our old neighborhood brought over a small gift from a few members of our old ward. It was a statue of a father and son kneeling together talking. It is a very sweet remembrance of the love that Steve will always have for his father and one that will pass down to our son.
And this officially catches me all up. Love you all for your patience and endurance. Whew!

Remember CTR forever!LOL this is us living "White Trash" on a lazy Sunday...AT OUR NEW HOUSE!! That is right the Ludlow's (Steve and Mindy) are official home owners now. That is why we have been so busy. It was a sad day to leave our friends from our old neighborhood but after living here for almost a month it was so worth the move. Our two bedroom apartment was just getting so crowded. We did buy a friends house and couldn't be more pleased with how the deal worked out.
