Running Update
On Hal's training plan today was my 2 mile day. I was a little worried that it might not be enough so I read up on Hal's website and one thing he suggested was that if you find you are running easy then try to focus on your stride. Making sure that you hit the ground on your heel and then push forward with your toes. So as I paid more attention to my feet I noticed that when I start concentrating on going up the hills or I am distracted I will pound the pavement with my whole foot. So I worked really hard to not do that this time and surprisingly it felt like more of a workout. I was worried that maybe I was running slower because I was so focused on my stride but when I finished my 2.07 miles I was at 26 minutes. WOOT!!! Still a 13 minute mile. Oh my gosh I can't believe last month I was happy with a 15 minute mile and now I am at 13. Yeah for me!!!

Keep going girl! I am so proud and envious of you! I keep thinking I should follow your lead and get myself going :) You're kickin butt!
