Running Update

4th Week for 1/2 Marathon Training.

Things are going ok. I wasn't able to run on Saturday because I got sick so I missed my first 5 miler. Shouldn't be too much of a problem though since I have to run a 5 miler this week. I ran a 3.5 last night (almost died afterwards) still sick but I ran about 11:15 per mile so still pretty darn good in my book.

I am going to the shoe store tonight though and getting new shoes. I have noticed that my arches are starting to ache a little about mile 2 and my feet are a little bit stiff this morning. I knew that they have about 400 or 500 miles in them and I calculated that they would probably last me until February but I am still amazed at how different they feel simply because I have been running. Had I not gotten new shoes after my first few months of running I don't think I would have noticed but there really is a differece when you have a good pair of running shoes.

Go buy thsoe shoes...you deserve them rock star runner...can I tell you how insanely JEALOUS I am that you are running right now. I can't wait to plan my first race after the baby. You will do amazing with the half, I can't wait for it, for you!!!!! See you in 3 weeks hot mama!
