This weekend, starting on Thursday, was jam packed full of family activities. Steve's littlest brother was getting married so all of his family was up here for it. And since our family trees are so narrow (I can explain this to anyone who wants to know) there were a lot of family activities planned on both my side and Steve's side of the family. The first was a Ludlow side family hike up to Waterfall Canyon (in Ogden Canyon). This was a "family" hike or so the info said but it turned into a very, very, very long hike with toddlers and younger ones. But we finished it and the view was worth it. It was a lot faster going down then it was coming up and boy we were all exhausted.
This was at one of the direction signs. We took the scenic route up and that was a mistake because it was the long way to the Waterfall. This is at the bottom of the waterfall where we ate lunch. Every one was really grateful for the rest. Then we continued on.

This is the family shot of us at the water fall. It was awesome and not a great place for little ones but that was a lesson learned. The next day was the Air Show up on Hill AFB. We took the kids to the Museum and then caught the show. This was a Cole side family event. It was fun to see Connor get so excited over all the planes.

Megan and Julia at the fate watching the show.
Connor covering his ears because he didn't want to wear the ear plugs and the Thunderbirds are very loud.
Sunday Steve and I died. I was a little tired, ok I was a lot tired (I slept all day) and still have a headache but it was a great weekend and we enjoyed all the family time on both sides. Our last activity on the Cole side was a family BBQ at my Mom and Dads house. It was great to get a chance to see everyone especially Jeremy and Mellyn who live in Lousianna and it was even better that Julia and Connor got to spend so much time with all their cousins this weekend. We had a great time and I am so grateful now that it is over and I can really relax and take it all in. What a great family we have. We love you all!!!

The AWESOME thunderbirds!! What a great show.
Saturday was our last day of activities for the Ludlow side. Aaron's wedding. It was at Jeremiah's Restaurant in the back. They have this beautiful pond and set up for weddings. It was really pretty. Savannah (Aaron's lovely bride) asked Julia to be her flower girl and Aaron asked Connor to be his ring bearer so it was a special time for the whole family. We had a Brunch that morning and then the rehearsal in the afternoon then it was off to a nap for Connor and Julia and I went to get mani's and pedi's for the ceremony. The Wedding was at 5 and the setting was perfect. It was a great day and my kids did marvelous. Steve and I both got chocked up at the site of our little ones. What a great thing for them to remember.

I am just tired ready that! You guys were so busy! but it looked like you had no time to think about it. Julia and Connor looked fab in their wedding attire! So cute!
I love the family picture in front of the waterfall. Looks like a long, but fun one. Julia is so pretty in her dress, walking down the aisle throwing flowers. What cute kids. I love family weekends.
