Not the Mommy!

I had to remind Julia this morning that she is not the Mommy. Here is what happened...
The kids woke up around 6:30 am which for them (and us) is earlier than normal. So Steve and I were still in bed but were awake. We heard Julia and Connor in the living room playing and watching cartoons. Then we heard Julia being a little bossy (which is normal for her). Connor kept getting up on one of the computer chairs we have in our living room and she kept telling him to get down. On the second time around she started counting. She got to 2 and 1/2 and he got down. But then he tried again and she counted 1....2....2&1/2.....3.Wap! LOL She spanked his bottom and he got down. I started laughing and Steve laughed right along with me (we of course got up at this point). Now it wasn't a hard wap so that is the only reason she didn't get in trouble but I did tell her that I was the mommy (after I had composed myself) and that she should not hit her little brother. It was very funny and I thought I would share!
