1/2 Marathon / Running Update

14 more days until the 1/2 marathon and I am getting so excited/nervous. I ran 9 miles yesterday and while my long distance runs are slower than my short ones it is still under 12 minute miles. :)~ I know that I will probably be one of the last ones to finish but I will at least finish. Windy finally registered which means she is committed, WOOT!!! :) My brother still says he is going to try to run but I am unsure if he will be ready in time. I tried a spinning class last week to see if the change up would be fun. While the class was fun it wore me out. I did my usual runs for the week and found that I was exhausted so I think I am going to skip the spin class for now, just until I get done with my 1/2 then I will resume. Sorry Tammy but you are just too much of a Spinmeister for my tired old body. :) See you all out there, I plan on running at 7 am when it starts and then it should take me a little less than two hours to finish. The finish line will be at the Gateway and I expect a big crowd out there cheering me and my sister on. And my brother if he makes it.

Get Out And Live!!

Spring Soccer

Julia started soccer this season last week and I haven't had a chance to download pics but since today is conference I have the time. It was so cold the first week and the second week was supposed to be just as cold but it ended up only getting colder toward the end. She is doing really well and learning more and more every time she plays. Now we just need to work on her kicks and being more aggressive. Enjoy.

Trying to stay warm.

This is her good friend and constant chatting partner Kylie (sp?). It is dangerous to put these two together because they don't pay attention to the ball. :)

She is actually defending the goal here. I was so excited.
And she did it. I am the loudest one usually at the games so this was a very load moment for me. I was so proud!

Two Great Boys

My nephews Bryson and Ryan will be attending the National Boy Scout Jamboree at Fort AP Hill, Virginia in July of 2010! The Jamboree is held only every 4 years and is considered to be 'Scouting at its very best!' I am posting this to ask for your help in raising money so they can attend this Jamboree.

They are selling Trail's end Popcorn-America's Best Popcorn!

All you have to do is go to www.orderpopcorn.com and when it asks for a 'Scouts Key' use TEVW4XC for Byrson and/or TEVW4JV for Ryan.

Then you can choose from a variety of delicious Trail's End products. Once purchased, the product will be sent directly to your home!

Thanks for your support!

Please tell everyone else to support them in attending the National Scout Jamboree.

2009 Winter Family Photo Session

I could not fit all the pictures onto the blog because it would have taken you all night to look at them but these are some of the best shots from the photo shoot. Our Photographer was none other than our family photog, Karalene Ludlow. She did such a great job and she was patient until the end and even beyond. Connor was the most trouble some but she handled him like the pro she is. Stay tuned for more great pics this year.

New Camera

The Ludlow's got a new camera this month (thank you Tax Returns) and I spent the first two days taking over 500 pictures. It was a lot of fun and I learned a lot about the camera. It is a Canon Powershot SX110 IS. Thank you Aunt Karalene for helping us make the best choice. While I am not a professional or even semi-professional photographer it was phone to pretend.
Me in the van with my Dad playing with my hair.
Steve looking really annoyed.
Uncle Matt not looking at me because he was watching a basketball game.
Windy playing with her cameras, yes I said cameras.
Grand Daddy being a sucker. Oops I mean eating a sucker.
Connor being really sad because he can't get out of the backyard.
Julia being a super fishy model.
